John Saldivar congratulates Patrick Faber on beating him in leadership convention

By BBN Staff: John Saldivar has just issued a statement congratulating new UDP leader-elect, Patrick Faber.

Saldivar extended gratitude to all his supporters less than 24 hours after just barely losing to Faber in yesterday’s long-anticipated leadership convention for the UDP.

“A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your steadfast and loyal support. Against all odds, we came close to a magnificent victory for the common people. We will remain in the struggle for the small man and woman and we will remain with the United Democratic Party as the best and only option through which meaningful change and progress can be achieved,” Saldivar said.

Saldivar then extended congratulations to the new UDP Leader, Patrick Faber.
