Belize Water Services announces several interruptions

By BBN Staff: Belize Water Services Limited has announced the times and locations for several interruptions of service this week.

Customers in Benque Veijo and surrounding areas will be experiencing unplanned low pressure and intermittent interruptions due to electrical malfunction at the Benque Veijo reservoir today, that interruption is expected to last from 6:57 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This malfunction also affects the Succotz Distribution System.

There is a planned interruption for the entire Windmill area of Hattieville for tomorrow, July 15, 2020, due to the installation of a new water main. This interruption will last from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. There is also a planned interruption on Wednesday for Mile 48 ½ to Mile 51 in the George Price Highway, including Roaring Creek A area and Camalote Kent area for the installation of new water mains. This will last from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

The area from Mile 48 to Mile 48 ½, on the George Price Highway, including Roaring Creek A and C areas, also has a planned interruption for Thursday during thehours of 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the installation of new water mains.
