By BBN Staff: There are reports of massive flooding coming out of the Toledo district this morning.

We have confirmed that the bridge at Jacinto is flooded, making passage out of Punta Gorda to the rest of the country impossible at this time.

The flood is expected to delay travel for several hours.

The National Meteorological Service of Belize warned today that there is an advisory out for low lying areas today as a weak tropical wave approaches the country.
