By BBN Staff: Dianne Finnegan, long-known for her work as the Director of the Youth Apprenticeship Program, announced via her Facebook page yesterday that she officially no longer involved with the program.
“It’s been 11 years of unbelievable, exceptional, unforgettable, crazy, sad, happy but most of all bless years,” she said in her post.
“I want to publicly thank Minister Patrick Faber for trusting me to mold and guide those youth to tap into their souls and recognize their own self worth and greatness,” she added.
She thanked her staff and re-stated her love for the youth despite walking away from the program. She also expressed “endless gratitude” to Prime Minister Dean Barrow.
Her departure from the program follows a wave of resignations after Sunday’s UDP convention, which saw Patrick Faber victorious over John Saldivar. Many have speculated the resignations that have followed stem from a result of lingering fallout and unhealed wounds within the UDP.
