By BBN Staff: The wife of the COVID-19 patient from Santa Elena Town reached out to Breaking Belize News pleading to the public for food assistance yesterday.

The wife told BBN that she found out on Tuesday that her husband’s test results returned positive and didn’t have time to shop and prepare with groceries.

Belizean American businessman and Owner of Ramon & Sons Sewer and Water, Ramon Palma has reached out to the family and will be providing over 2 month’s worth of food supplies and basic necessities for the family.

The wife says that she is truly grateful to Palma and his family for their generosity and extends blessings upon them.

You may remember Palma as he is the same person that has awarded 15 scholarships to Belizean students.

She also told us that her husband is slowly improving and she continues to give him home remedies.

She was tested yesterday and expects the results of her test today.
