Moist and unstable weather ahead

The latest weather forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions have become moist and generally unstable.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over coastal and northern areas this morning, then decreasing this afternoon with a few more over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast at 05-15 knots and the sea state will be slightly-light chop.

High tide came in at 6:56 a.m. and low tide will occur at 2:39 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:30 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 3:23 a.m.
