By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belize City.
Conway Galvez told police that he was driving on Louis Bevans Street when he heard about 5 shots fired and observed that he received an injury.
Galvez then drove to a police checkpoint and informed the police.
Galvez told police that he was just leaving from his cousin’s house when someone from inside a yard fired shots at him.
He quickly drove off when he heard the shots.
His vehicle had several bullet holes in it.
An ivestigation is ongoing.
