Fair weather to start off the new week

The latest weather forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that generally fair weather conditions are expected for the next couple of days.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit alongthe coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 83 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 05-15 knots and the sea state will be slight-light chop.

High tide will come in at in at 8:28 a.m. and low tide will occur at 4:01 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:30 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 5:16 a.m.
