“Weather will be warm but unstable ,” says Met Service

The latest weather forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that warm and relatively unstable weather conditions will dominate the weather today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today with some cloudy spells and it will be cloudy at times tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated inland and in the North today, extending to coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

“Residents, especially those living in inland areas are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight and outdoor activities as much as possible,” the Met Service said.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 05-10 knots and the sea state will be slight-light chop.

High tide will come in at 10:00 a.m. and low tide will occur at 5:21 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:29 p.m. and the moon rose today at 6:19 a.m.
