Man chopped to death in Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: Yesterday around 10.30 pm, police visited Carmelita Village in the Orange District where the motionless body of a man identified as Terrique Munnings, 26, was seen lying on the ground.

Initial investigation revealed that Munnings was riding his bicycle accompanied by two other minors on separate bicycles when they were attacked by Alton Conorqui, Sherwin Loague and another man who were armed with machetes.  Both minors escaped, however, Munnings stayed behind and was chopped to death by Conorqui, Loague and the other unknown man . The three men then fled the scene.

The body was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where its awaits a post mortem examination.

Police are investigating.
