Fair weather returns

The latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that generally fair weather will prevail today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, except for a few more over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 43 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

An advisory remains in effect for residents, especially those living in inland areas to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight and outdoor activities as much as possible.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 05-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High tide will come in at 11:36 a.m. and low tide will occur at 6:42 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:29 p.m. and the moon rose today at 8:18 a.m.
