By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Education (MOE) issued a statement today informing that contrary to statements being made in regards to the termination of Anglican teachers that no such action has been taken to terminate those teachers.

“The MOE reminds stakeholders that the Belize Teaching Service Commission is the entity responsible for enforcing all regulations governing the conditions of service of teachers with respect to employment, appointment, transfer, discipline, and termination at government and government-aided schools.  Where termination for any reason is to be taken against a teacher in the teaching profession, it must be approved by the Commission,” a statement from the Ministry said.
