Murder charge withdrawn against former suspect in San Ignacio double murder

By BBN Staff: According to Cayo Police, a charge of attempted murder against 20-year-old Amore Foster has been withdrawn for lack of evidence.

Foster was released Wednesday evening after being questioned in the attempted murder of Danny Jimenez Saturday night.

Jimenez and four others were shot, two fatally, by an armed gunman near a nightclub in San Ignacio Town.

Police have detained and questioned a number of persons in connection with the incident. Presently one person is still in custody and another is being sought.
