Fair weather continues

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that generally fair weather is expected to continue today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with isolated showers or thunderstorms, except for slightly more over the north and inland areas today , then over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 83 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

An advisory remains in effect for residents, especially those living in inland areas to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight and outdoor activities as much as possible.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 05-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

Low tide began at 6:23 a.m. and high tide will come in at 12:28 .m.

The sun will set at 6:28 p.m. and the moon rose today at 9:17 a.m.
