Two charged for San Ignacio shooting/double murder

By BBN Staff: Today, police officially arrested and charged two men for a shooting incident in San Ignacio that left two men dead and three people injured.

Police say that John Alexander Hendy, 33, and Travis Tyler Navarro, 26,were jointly charged with two counts of Murder, three counts of Attempted Murder, three Counts of Used of Deadly Means of Harm and three Counts of Dangerous Harm.

The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. outside the Macal Park and claimed the lives of Samuel Hill and Windel Trapp. A police officer Danny Jimenez was among those injured in the incident.
