Owner of popular pizza business in Ladyville shot and killed

By BBN Staff: The owner of a popular pizza business was shot and killed a short while ago in Ladyville. He has been identified as 38-year-old Orin Velasquez, a Ladyville resident and owner of Breda O’s Pizza.

Velasquez received gunshot injuries to the chest and was rushed to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for treatment. He was pronounced dead at 7:50 p.m. by the doctors at KHMH.

BBN has not been able to confirm if the shooting was the result of an armed holdup or another motive.

Police are currently on the scene conducting investigations.
