The latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize is indicating that an approaching tropical wave will support an increase in moisture over some areas of the country.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over inland areas today, then over most areas tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy-moderate.
Low tide will occur at 12:29 a.m. and high tide will come in at 6:48 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:27 p.m. and the moon rose today at 2:11 a.m.
