By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist and unstable conditions will prevail today, gradually improving by tomorrow.
The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly cloudy with some showers, a few thunderstorms and periods of rain occurring over most places today.
Activity will gradually decrease and affect mostly the south tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Northeast at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy-moderate.
A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Low tide will occur at 1:35 p.m. and high tide will come in at 7:57 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:26 p.m. and the moon rose today at 3:11 a.m.
