Moist and unstable weather to prevail

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist and unstable conditions will prevail today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies at times with generally isolated showers and thunderstorms developing this morning and tonight, and an increase in showery activity is expected this afternoon mainly over inland areas.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 98 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be light and variable and the sea state will be slight.

High tide will come in at 9:27 a.m. and low tide will occur at 4:55 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:24 p.m. and the moon will rise at 6:47 p.m.
