By BBN Staff: Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero said that flags were raised after 3 patients detected with COVID-19 had no documented travel history and no knowledge of having contact with anyone who had the virus.
Manzanero says that the country has registered 57 cases of COVID-19.
Over the weekend, the Ministry of Health detected 9 cases of COVID-19.
The contact tracing for the 3 patients is ongoing to try to determine where and when they got infected.
The ninth case detected on Sunday is a person from San Pedro who was symptomatic. This patient is recovering at home.
Manzanero urged the public to adhere to social distancing regulations and always wear the face masks.
