Teen boy critical after falling overboard and being chopped by boat engine

By BBN Staff: Earlier we reported that a person had fallen overboard a small boat near the Belize harbor downtown Belize City.

BBN has confirmed the victim is a 15-year-old boy from Caye Caulker. He reportedly feel from the single-engine vessel earlier this afternoon and sustained a large cut to the forehead from the boat’s propeller.

He is listed in critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
