By BBN Staff: On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, the Ministry of Health detected 14 new cases of COVID-19.
Of those 14 new cases, 2 new cases in San Pedro were detected that don’t appear to be related to any cluster.
The 2 patients are symptomatic patients that were picked up through the flu clinic routine and enhanced surveillance.
One of the two cases is a child.
The provisional report in San Pedro is also indicating that at least 20 (twenty) symptomatic cases were swabbed at the flu clinic in San Pedro (not necessarily linked to any of the previous cases).
Health authorities are now monitoring 53 new cases.
