Teenager dies following boating accident

By BBN Staff: Kyle Carias, 15, died yesterday following a boating accident in Caye Caulker.

Carias, a student of Ocean Academy was on a boat and reportedly fell overboard. He was immediately rescued but sustained a large cut wound to the forehead from boat’s propeller and died while receiving treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

The circumstances behind his fall are unknown at this time.
