Ministry sticks to protocol: Quarantine at home, take precautions if asymptomatic

By Aaron Humes: The first preliminary report from the Ministry of Health says 180 samples are being processed today.

Of these some 30 cases are to be confirmed with a second test. As for where they are from, the statement only said “not only from San Pedro.”

And speaking of San Pedro, several cases were reported from a church there, as many as five.

Two cases are hospitalized and those persons are likely to leave the hospital today.

A majority of those infected will quarantine at home if necessary to avoid overwhelming hospital beds. Some may be hospitalized or quarantined but the protocol of mask wearing and social distancing still applies.
