Caye Caulker registers first COVID-19 case, more COVID-19 cases in Belmopan

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health informed on Monday that it has identified 23 new cases of COVID-19.

Included in the samples tested, was 1 positive case from Caye Caulker becoming the 1^st confirmed case of COVID-19 on the island.

The Ministry noted that the patient had no apparent link to any previously identified case for now.

In Belmopan City, the Ministry identified 3 new cases of COVID-19.

Of the 3 patients, 2 are linked to a previously identified positive case in Belmopan and the other case is linked to San Pedro.

The Ministry of Health continues to urge the public to adhere to all regulations.
