By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that generally fair conditions are expected over the country today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 05-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.
“A flood watch remains in effect for low-lying and flood prone areas, especially in the west and south of the country.”
Low tide will occur at 10:07 and high tide will come in 3:40 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:20 p.m. and the moon will rise at 11:44 p.m.
