John McAfee making waves over use of women’s underwear as face covering

By Aaron Humes: According to the New York Post via the Daily Mail (UK), antivirus developer turned fugitive John McAfee continues to find the most interesting ways to get into trouble.

This time, he was held in Norway over refusing to wear a standard face mask over the women’s thong he was using as a face covering.

Ultimately he was released but not before lampooning his captors on Twitter, assisted by his wife Janice.

McAfee contends that masks can stop the spread of bacteria but not viruses and that his covering – actually one of his own collection which he recently announced he would auction off – was safer than the standard ones on offer.

McAfee previously fled from Belize, where he had lived for several years after authorities sought him for questioning in the 2012 murder of a neighbor.

He is wanted by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for tax evasion and is also wanted in the Dominican Republic on a gun smuggling case, among other warrants.
