Health officials monitoring 262 active cases of COVID-19

The country has now registered 296 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
On Wednesday, the Ministry detected 86 new cases.
The breakdown of confirmed cases is as follows:
Belize District- 174 cases
Orange Walk- 75 cases
Corozal- 20 cases
Cayo- 16 cases
Stann Creek- 10 cases
Toledo- 1 case
The Ministry noted that the majority of the new cases are related to previously identified cases and underscores the value of contact tracing that continues.
The public is urged to avoid being in public or crowded spaces as we move along and all non-essential travel inter/intra district is to be avoided.
