Health officials monitoring 262 active cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Health officials are now monitoring 262 active cases of COVID-19.

So far, Belize has registered 296 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health processed 2 separate batches for a total of 257 samples.

Eighty six new cases were detected.

The Ministry noted that the majority of new cases are linked to previously identified cases and underscores the value of contact tracing.
