Posted: Friday, August 14, 2020. 11:02 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: Citing his daily bulletin from the Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, the Prime Minister Dean Barrow said some Belizeans are still not paying attention to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency.

Forty-seven persons were arrested for various violations up to last night, by the Commissioner’s count.

Later the amendments introducing stiffer penalties for violations will be discussed and the Prime Minister signaled that he was willing to address the reservations of the Opposition.
