Posted: Friday, August 14, 2020. 11:08 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: The daily curfew is to be rolled back as well as regulations on limits to mass gatherings among other regulations, Prime Minister Dean Barrow announced in the House of Representatives.

The full details are to be presented on a special primetime Saturday edition of Ask the Experts with Attorney General Michael Peyrefitte but PM Barrow has given a preview.

Curfew will be set at 10 p.m. for weekends and 8 p.m. on weekdays.

Mass gatherings will be limited to ten persons, including churches.

Restaurants can stay open for dining but social distancing will be enforced.

Contact sports will be limited, including cycling which will require use of masks.

The Prime Minister concluded by saying that it will take a lot to consider complete lockdown, the samples to be tested this weekend will tell whether there is an unmistakable pattern and danger ahead that will cause the Government to rethink its measures.
