Public transport regulations still in effect

By Aaron Humes: There have been many concerns about public, inter-district transport as it is a potential spreader of COVID-19.

But the Government has been reluctant to close this down, though the Ministry of Health has warned against unnecessary travel and movement.

Passengers on buses, taxis, dollar vans and so on are limited to seating capacity – no standees – and people must wear their masks and sanitize before getting in.

The driver must now be masked, according to the A.G.

Buses are offering a limited amount of runs inter-district and between communities, so be sure to arrive a few minutes before time to save your seat. If possible, get your ticket from the conductor on arrival or while on the bus.
