UB’s faculty of science and technology pass motion to commence classes on September 7

By BBN Staff: The University of Belize’s faculty of science and technology informed that it held a meeting on August 14, 2020 and a motion was passed for classes to commence on September 7.

“This will give us adequate time to prepare for the semester and address the inequities in the workload, returning to the previous work load assignments as given,” the faculty said.

In addition, the faculty and staff reject any salary cuts until the management negotiations with the University of Belize Staff and Faculty Union.
