Belize has 4th highest active cases of COVID-19 in CARICOM

By BBN Staff: Last night Belize registered 64 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total amount of active cases to 414.

Belize has now surpassed Guyana to become the country with the 4th highest number of active cases in CARICOM.

Trinidad and Tobago has also surpassed Jamaica to become the country with the 6th highest active cases.

Haiti currently has 2,595 active cases (the highest) in the Caribbean Community followed by The Bahamas with 1,092 and Suriname with 971.

As of this morning, Sunday, August 16th 2020, the world has registered 21,641,369 cases of COVID-19 with 769,481 deaths and 14,350,381 people fully recovering from the virus.
