By BBN Staff: As a safety measure in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Attorney General’s Ministry has announced that as of Monday, August 17, 2020, face-to-face services at the Marriage Registry in Belmopan will be
suspended.
The Ministry issued the announcement this afternoon, noting that the Marriage Registry will be offering services via an online platform as of Monday.
“Marriage licence application forms, pertinent information brochures and all instructions can be found online on the Government Portal at the Government of Belize’s website…” the Ministry said.
The Ministry also said that those seeking more information can contact Desiree Montes, Secretary, Marriage Registry, at telephone #822-2504.
