Robbers make off with $3K from Belize City shop

By BBN Staff: Two men robbed ABC Shop, located at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Freedom Street, yesterday, making off with $3,000 in cash.

Reports are that two men, one of whom was armed with a gun, entered the shop around 12:30 p.m. and took the money, which the shop owner said was the day’s sales from lottery tickets.

Neither of the men could not be recognized as they were wearing masks.

Police are investigating the incident.
