Three field officers involved in contact tracing test positive for COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health informed today that three field officers involved in contact tracing and mapping exercises have tested positive for COVID-19.

The country now has 452 registered cases of COVID-19, of which 414 are still active and 35 have recovered. With the additional death recorded today, four (4) people have died of the virus in Belize.

Currently two (2) patients remain intubated at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) and two (2) others remain in the isolation area. No other region is reporting critically ill patients at this time.
