Posted: Monday, August 17, 2020. 1:54 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: Beginning today, visitors to the Supreme Court at Regent Street and Treasury Lane will have their temperatures checked by the security guards on duty.

Two monitors will be shared by the guards employed by SOS Security Services at the court to perform temperature checks on all persons who must to visit the offices of the Magistrate’s and Supreme Courts and General Registry.

Checks will be done on all persons traversing the area, whether upstairs or downstairs and those with a temperature of over 100 degrees are barred from entering. The typical human body temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Court and Registry were forced to close temporarily last week under suspicion of a staff member having COVID-19.
