By Aaron Humes: Some 8 thousand test kits were handed over today to the Ministry of Health from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Belize office.
The organization said on social media that the kits “will be distributed to labs so that more people can be tested and more lives can be saved.”
It thanks Fundación Probitas and other donors who contributed to the UNICEF Humanitarian Fund for COVID-19.
Belize is continuing to stockpile supplies as it tests twice a week for COVID-19, which has claimed four lives and infected close to 500 persons countrywide.
