Ministry of Health: 52 new cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health says that yesterday they identified a total of 52 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

The breakdown of new cases is as follows:

– 3 in Corozal

– 5 in Cayo

– 9 in Belize (7 in Caye Caulker, 1 in Ladyville, 1 in Belize City)

– 35 in Orange Walk

Belize has now registered 605 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The Director of Health Services (DHS) informs that everyday, it will be presenting the infographic after midday to allow time to inform all those who are positive. The results from today’s samples for example, will be presented tomorrow.

Throughout the afternoon, the DHS will be providing updates on the location of the cases as well as the status of those hospitalized.
