National Meteorological Service monitors tropical depression 14 as it approaches

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is monitoring tropical depression 14 as it approaches.

As of this morning, tropical depression 14 was located near 235 miles east of Cabo Gracias A Dios on the Nicaragua/Honduras border.

Tropical depression 14 was moving to the West at 21mph with maximum sustained winds of 35mph.

The National Hurricane Center says that regardless of development, this system will likely produce heavy rains across Central America.

A tropical storm watch is in effect for parts of Honduras.
