41 new cases of COVID-19 identified

By BBN Staff: The Office of the Director of Health Services informed that for Thursday, August 20, 2020, it identified 41 new cases of COVID-19.

The new cases are patients from:

Cayo – 9 (4 in Belmopan)
Belize – 23 (15 in San Pedro)
Orange Walk – 7
Corozal – 2

The country has now registered 648 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health reports of 5 recovered cases (2 in OW, 1 in Corozal, 1 in San Pedro, 1 in Belize City).
