Alleged robber shot dead in Gungulung area

By BBN Staff: A man was shot and killed a short while ago in the Gungulung area of Belize City.

Police are currently on the scene processing the area. According to reports, the man, yet unidentified, had allegedly tried to rob a person in the area with a fake gun when the victim reached for his own licensed pistol and fired a shot.

The alleged would-be robber reportedly died on the spot. Other details have not yet been confirmed.
