By BBN Staff: The Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow is scheduled to host a virtual press conference at 2pm today to update the nation on COVID-19 and additional response measures.

The conference will be carried live on the Government of Belize’s Facebook page.Belize has experienced a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases.

Health officials are currently monitoring 562 active cases.
