Dennis Lamb killed in apparent robbery attempt

By BBN Staff: Dennis Lamb, 19, was shot and killed around 9:30 on Friday night inside a yard on Eleanor Usher street in the Gungulung area of Belize City.

According to reports, the shooter told police he had dropped off a friend at that address on a motorcycle and was taking a phone call when he was approached from behind by Lamb. Lamb allegedly pointed a black revolver at him, but the man pushed his hand away and drew for his own licensed .9mm pistol and fired on him three times.

Lamb was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:05pm.
