Sixth death associated to COVID-19 in Belize

By BBN Staff: The Office of the Director of Health Services informed today that a sixth patient has died from COVID-19.

“The (GeneXpert) platform had picked up a case in someone who died with liver complications but was diagnosed with COVID-19, we will be classifying further as we move along,” the statement noted.

The Ministry of Health also detected a further 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

The public is urged to adhere to all regulations.
