By Aaron Humes: Tonight – in fact, in the next hour or so – all Belizeans must be off the streets by 10 p.m. in observance of the daily curfew.

On Sunday, that time moves up to 9 p.m., seven days a week, up to September 4, 2020.

Businesses are required to continue to close their doors an hour before the start of curfew.

But Attorney General Michael Peyrefitte established that home means home – so if you are on your porch or veranda enjoying the night air, you can’t be made to go inside.

But, if you are not at home by ten tonight, or nine tomorrow night, then shelter in place until five a.m.
