Lord Ashcroft COVID-19 relief fund donates over $135,000 to Police Department for fitness center

By BBN Staff: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams presented a proposal to the Lord Ashcroft COVID-19 relief fund to enhance the health and well-being of police officers.

The proposal was to acquire a state of the art gym equipment and materials for the police fitness center.

On Monday, Chairman of the fund, Lyndon Guiseppi presented Williams with a cheque valued at $135,600.

Williams extended gratitude to Lord Ashcroft and his committee for the generous donations.

The Police Department has sourced the expertise of Darwin Gallardo, owner and Manager of Muscle Hut Gym.

Gallardo will assist in the renovation of the center and acquire the equipment needed.
