The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that generally fair weather is expected over most areas today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells today with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms inland this afternoon and partly cloudy tonight with isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East between 05-15 knots and the sea state will be slight.
An advisory is in place for residents, particularly those inland, to stay hydrated and avoid sunlight as much as possible.
Low tide will begin at 9:42 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:50 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:11 p.m. and the moon will rise at 12:05 a.m.
