Ministry of Health confirms 17 new cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The latest update from the Ministry of Health (MOH) says that 17 newly diagnosed cases have emerged from a sample batch of 129.

“The breakdown is as follows: Corozal District – 9, Orange Walk District – 4, Belize City – 2, Cayo District -2,” the Ministry said.

The Ministry also noted that there are three recovered cases: Chan Chen, Corozal; Belmopan, Cayo and one from Orange Walk.

The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in Belize to 730.
